A haven of peace of tranquility in Balboa Park, San Diego

In a major city, it can be hard to find a bit of peace and tranquility.

If you head to Balboa Park, within San Diego, you’re going to find just that! A park of historic and cultural significance, you can spend hours wandering around here and taking in the many sights on display!

Many of San Diego’s museums and major attractions are located here. But even if you don’t visit any of these museums, there is still plenty to see. And the best thing? You don’t have to break the bank!

We took a wander around the gardens and enjoyed the views of the Botanical building and the wide range of plants and flowers on display. I was in awe at many of the trees here - some of which I’d never seen or heard of in my life!

It’s such a calming location and one that I thoroughly enjoyed visiting. I’m sure you’ll feel the same way if you choose to visit here too.
