Teotihuacan ruins🏜️

Teotihuacan is home to some of the world's largest pyramid ruins. It was a city-state founded around the 1st century, where large pyramids and temples were built one after another. ✨

After some research, I discovered that at its peak, it had a population of 200,000 and thrived as an economic and religious center. However, it began to decline around the 6th century, eventually becoming abandoned and disappearing from people's memories. ...

The Aztecs, who later migrated here, restored and preserved the ruined pyramids and temples, and named the area "Teotihuacan" (place where the gods gather), hence the name. While the ruins are shrouded in mystery, many structures remain, including the Pyramid of the Sun, the third largest in the world, which is a must-see. 🏜️✨

The contrast with the hot air balloon was amazing. ✨
