Sanming | Qilinshan Park, a forty-year landmark park

Qilinshan Park, established in 1980, is located in Sanming City, by the Shaxi River. The main attractions in the park include Qilin Pavilion, Juyun Pavilion, Feishi Pavilion, and the mountain cable car.

Qilin Pavilion is built at the highest point of the mountain. Climbing to Qilin Pavilion in Qilinshan Park offers a distant view of Sanming City's scenery. During childhood, teachers and parents would take us to Qilinshan Park for spring and autumn outings. As time passed, the park's facilities became outdated. In recent years, Qilinshan Park has been renovated and refurbished. Sightseeing tour cars have been introduced in the park, and an elevator has been installed in Qilin Pavilion, making it easier to enjoy the panoramic view of Sanming City.

Nearby, the park is shaded by green trees, with Qilin stepping on auspicious clouds. In the distance, traffic flows along both sides of the Shaxi River, and there is the large-scale Sangang industrial area and the high-rise commercial district. Qilinshan Park, a garden in the city, is a national park that has witnessed the development of Sanming.
