Qiwangzhai is a small and picturesque village nestled in the majestic Taihang Mountains. Located on the Henan side of the border between Henan and Shanxi provinces, the village is 45 kilometers from Huixian.
The Qiwangzhai Scenic Area comprises Qiwangzhai, Sanjiaokou Reservoir, Foyegou, and Tianzhugou, among other scenic areas. Qiwangzhai borders Sanjiaokou Reservoir to the north, and at first glance, it's bathed in misty clouds stretching as far as the eye can see, like a goddess of Wushan, peacefully sleeping amidst the mountains. The majestic Qiwang Waterfall, with a drop of over 80 meters, rumbles down the valley like the Yellow River pouring down. From a distance, it resembles a lady washing her silk or a dancing white dragon. Up close, the air is filled with vapor, and the swirling clouds and mist ripple like smoke, creating a magnificent spectacle.
The peaks are of various shapes and forms, towering and majestic; strange peaks stand tall, cliffs towering thousands of feet high; peaks and ridges overlap, and gorges and valleys are deep. The vast difference in terrain and the natural barrier formed by the surrounding mountains have given the area a mild climate, abundant rainfall, lush vegetation, and a beautiful natural environment. The area offers charming scenery all year round. From the top of the mountain, you can see the rolling mountains to the north, the golden belt of the Yellow River to the south, the lush forests to the east, and the misty clouds to the west. The scenery is so beautiful that it feels like entering a fairyland on earth.
Warm temperate continental monsoon climate, suitable for spring travel,
A sword splits the mountain to reveal a deep valley, and tourists stop to wonder if they are in the south of the Yangtze River. In the south, gods and Buddhas protect the village, and in the north, a pillar holds up half the sky. On the east side, there is a fairy's footprint, and in the west, there is a thumb-high peak. Two lions lie on the Taihang Mountains, and a magic axe stands on the mountaintop. The scenic area is developed throughout the countryside.
