Odle Peaks (also called Geisler / Geislergruppe / Odles) in the Dolomites — what they are, where to see them, how to hike around them, plus tips (including easier options).
The Odle Group (Italian Odle, German Geisler, Ladin Odles) is a jagged mountain massif in the Dolomites, located in South Tyrol (Alto Adige), northern Italy.
It lies between Val di Funes (Villnöss Valley) to the north, Val Gardena to the south, and Val Badia to the east. It is part of the Puez‑Odle Nature Park.
The group is famous for its vertical spires (“needles”), limestone cliffs, dramatic north faces, and photo‑worthy ridgelines — very distinctive Dolomite landscape.
