Sunsets in Sanya

The JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay subverts the traditional concept of high-rise sea view rooms with an "art manor that grows horizontally." The four-story building complex extends towards the coast in a stepped manner, and the guest room balconies are like viewing frames that unfold step by step: the first floor opens directly into the swimming pool, the second floor overlooks the palm tree canopy, the third floor captures the junction of the sea and sky, and the fourth floor brings Wuzhizhou Island into view. The Spanish designer skillfully uses the principle of perspective, allowing each meter of height to gain a new level of depth.
JW Kitchen's culinary philosophy is fully expressed here: the "Island Vitality Station" for breakfast offers freshly opened coconut coffee and dragon fruit smoothies, while dinner transforms into a "Mediterranean Kitchen" — the Spanish chef presents olive oil capsule salad using molecular cuisine techniques, and slow-cooked 48-hour beef short ribs, paired with Rioja aged wine selected from the wine cellar. The most wonderful thing is the waterfront platform extending from the restaurant. At dusk, holding a glass of sangria, you can watch the afterglow of the setting sun dye the manor's plaster carvings honey-colored.
Architectural details are hidden everywhere: the tile mosaics in the guest rooms reproduce the Alhambra Palace pattern, and the palm leaf relief on the bathroom mirror frame forms a virtual and real dialogue with the real tree shadows outside the window. Even without leaving the hotel, strolling along the artificial stream in the central courtyard, or taking a nap in the baroque-style pavilion, you can feel the unique affinity brought by the "low-rise viewing" — the sound of the waves is always gently undulating in your ears, as if the entire manor is breathing gently with the tide.
