Our family just returned from Sanya and stayed four days at Bright Court Guantang Vacation Apartment. The experience was amazing! 👍 Although it’s not a luxury hotel, it scores full marks for family travel convenience, especially suitable for traveling with elders and kids.

Only 2 km in a straight line to Atlantis, 5 minutes by car to the Duty-Free Shop (shopping alert!), and 5 minutes to 68 Global Food Street and Longhai Style Town. Most importantly, 301 Hospital is right next door, giving peace of mind when traveling with kids.
· Homestay prices, hotel quality: Compared to nearby hotels charging three to four thousand RMB, here you can stay in a sea view suite for just over 1,000 RMB, saving enough to buy two more bags at the duty-free shop!

We chose the three-bedroom suite; the huge balcony offers a great view, kids have plenty of space to play, and elders can relax with tea and enjoy the scenery. The washing machine and kitchen in the room are lifesavers for traveling with kids!

· The apartment’s own “Haitang Shiyue” commercial area: There’s a place called “Coconut Little Chicken” that’s been personally tested and delicious, just a 5-minute walk away, very convenient.
· 68 Global Food Street: Must try Baoluo noodles and Qingbuliang! This area gathers many restaurants offering Hainan local dishes, Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese cuisine, Thai food, and more.
· Linwang Night Market: A 10-minute drive, the 13 RMB mango smoothie is amazing! A great place to experience local night market vibes.
· Cooking yourself: Buying seafood at nearby supermarkets and cooking yourself is super cost-effective! The kitchen is fully equipped; we made several home-cooked meals, and the kids loved it.

🎢 What to do? Nearby entertainment

· Atlantis Water World/Aquarium: Just a few minutes by car, super convenient for water fun and fish watching.
· Wuzhizhou Island: Requires a boat ride, one of Sanya’s famous island attractions.
· Haitang Bay Public Beach: A 5-6 minute walk, fine sand and clear water, fewer people than hotel private beaches, kids can happily dig sand and splash waves all afternoon!
· Community swimming pool: Free! Few people and clean, kids want to splash around here every day.

💡 Thoughtful Tips (Tested and Effective)

1. Strongly recommend renting a car 🚗: Although there is a shuttle to the duty-free shop, it’s more convenient to drive yourself with kids. The villa offers free parking.
2. Be sure to book a room with a kitchen: Cooking, washing fruits, sterilizing bottles are all easier, and buying ingredients at nearby supermarkets is cheap.
3. Swim in the pool after 4 PM: No sun and cooler, the best experience.
4. Make good use of the butler service: Before check-in, you’ll receive a detailed local guide, including the least crowded times to visit the duty-free shop. For any needs (like a baby crib, fever medicine, etc.), contact the butler via WeChat for quick response.
5. Prepare a deposit: A deposit is required at check-in, varying by room type (for example, some villas require about RMB 3,000, while another Bright Court sea view villa requires about RMB 1,000). It’s recommended to confirm in advance. Usually, cash or third-party platform payments are accepted, and the deposit is refunded within one day after check-out.
6. Pay attention to plastic items: According to Hainan Province regulations, hotels do not proactively provide disposable plastic products (such as toothbrushes, razors, etc.). If needed, you can request them from the hotel.
