Mt. Fanxipan, located near the border between China and Vietnam, is famous as one of the highest mountains in Indochina, with an elevation of 3,143m!!
This mountain, which is at an elevation close to Mt. Fuji, can be reached by a 2km monorail and a 6.3km cable car operated by Vietnam's Sunworld. I don't recommend it for people with a fear of heights, but it was a rare experience to climb up to 3,000m in one go.

The monorail and cable car were booked through an app called Klook and cost VND900,000 per person. (About 5,000 yen)

When I got off the monorail, there was a French-style flower garden and a stall selling ethnic goods from Sapa.
The cable car could hold about 30 people. When I got off the cable car, there was a temperature difference from the ground and it was cold🥶
You can walk up a few stairs to the top of the mountain, or use the mini monorail for a fee. The stairs are steep, so I recommend taking the mini monorail to get up there 🚇
There is a cafe at the top of the mountain, and the hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream was amazing 🤩
On the way back, we were able to see the sea of ​​clouds, which was really fantastic and fun ♪
