The Hokkaido Prefectural Government Red Brick Office (former main office) is closed until March 2025 due to renovation work.
It is currently open to the public as the Hokkaido Prefectural Government Office Temporary Tour Facility.
As the "Red Brick Office, Only Here" you can see various materials on display, and you can even see the "Octagonal Tower" and "Octagonal Tower Pole" up close, within reach 😊
I visited without knowing that it was undergoing renovation work, but it was a valuable, one-of-a-kind experience.
You can take photos, and the explanatory materials seem to have been carefully and carefully created over a long period of time.
