I had the opportunity to visit when it first opened. If I can book a stay at a Kyoritsu Resort hotel, I often do, and I've used their services in various places.
The interior is almost entirely tatami, and the Japanese-style construction is calming.
Even the path to the large communal bath is covered with tatami mats.
The guest rooms also have open-air baths, which are very pleasant.
In addition to the standard services of Kyoritsu Resort, such as post-bath ice cream, post-bath drinks, night soba, and free private baths, there was also an original service where you could take your favorite tea bag to your room.
With rest areas near the lobby and massage chairs to relax in, if you try to use all these services, you'll find you spend very little time in your room (laughs)
