Former Hokkaido Government Office Building

In the bustling city of Sapporo, there is a building full of ancient atmosphere and Baroque style. Whether you visit it inside or take pictures outside, it is very unique.
This building was built using approximately 2.5 million red bricks, and you can feel its history and style from the curved glass and American neo-baroque style architecture. The Former Hokkaido Government Office Building is famous for its rich natural beauty, with cherry blossoms and lilacs in the spring, lush greenery in the summer, and red leaves in the fall. You can enjoy the different beauty of the four seasons. In addition, there are tulips and other flowers and a pond in the front yard of the building.
If you have time, you can also listen to the explanations of the local tourist volunteers, who will explain in detail the background and history of the buildings.
