Suwa Shrine, Sapporo, Hokkaido

As soon as you step into the shrine, you will be immediately attracted by the "hanatemizu" covered with flowers and the numerous Japanese umbrellas. The colorful umbrellas are changed from time to time. When I visited, it happened to be my favorite blue color. It was really beautiful.
If you like collecting goshuin, you will find a wide variety of them for sale here. There will be different seasonal designs every month, such as paper sculptures and embroidery.
Each goshuin is exquisite and unique in design.

Suwa Shrine is very conveniently located, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the shrine from Sapporo Station. Along the way, you can also enjoy the street scenes of Sapporo city and feel the pace of life of Hokkaido people.
