Japan's oldest beer museum. Impressive retro red brick!

Designated as a Hokkaido Heritage Site for its valuable Meiji-era architecture, the Sapporo Beer Museum was a must-visit on my Sapporo trip.

Inside the museum, you can freely explore exhibits featuring a giant boiling kettle actually used at the Sapporo Beer Sapporo Factory, retro advertisements, and the history of Sapporo Beer.

At the Star Hall, you can enjoy freshly brewed beer, including Kaitakushi Beer brewed at the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery, the founding site.
