I recently visited Hokkaido, and the lush green landscapes were a refreshing change from the snowy scenes often associated with the island. Our journey was filled with breathtaking views, delicious food, and memorable experiences.
We started in Otaru, where the Shukutsu Panoramic Observatory offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent hours taking it all in. In Sapporo, we visited Shiroi Koibito Park, a chocolate lover's paradise with beautiful gardens and a charming atmosphere. We indulged in the famous cookies and chocolates, which were absolutely delicious.
In Furano, we explored Farm Tomita, a haven for flower enthusiasts. The fields were ablaze with colorful blooms, and we strolled through the vibrant landscape, snapping photos and taking in the beauty of nature. Biei's Blue Pond was another highlight, with its uniquely bluish water which makes it stand out from the greenery .
Throughout our journey, we enjoyed a wide range of delicious food, from fresh seafood to local specialties like ramen, yakitori and yakiniku. Each meal was a culinary delight, showcasing Hokkaido's unique flavors and ingredients.
Seeing Hokkaido in its green glory was a treat, and we enjoyed exploring the island's many attractions. The scenic views, beautiful flowers, and delicious food made for an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a trip to Hokkaido, I highly recommend visiting during the green season for a unique and breathtaking experience.
