Hokkaido Shrine, Sapporo's most famous power spot, is a prestigious shrine dedicated to the guardian deity of Hokkaido's development. Its vast grounds are surrounded by nature throughout the seasons. During the cherry blossom season from late April to early May, approximately 1,400 cherry and plum trees bloom simultaneously, making it Sapporo's premier cherry blossom viewing spot.
