Sapporo and Otaru, cities with beautiful white winters

#WinterTravel

One of the first travel destinations that comes to mind when winter arrives is Sapporo, Japan.
The city's atmosphere, filled with snow-covered streets, hearty food, and winter festivals, is truly captivating.

Sapporo City offered more attractions than I expected.
From the Sapporo TV Tower, Odori Park, Susukino Street, and the Sapporo Beer Museum, the city center was filled with attractions and photo spots.

At night, the glittering neon lights reflected off the snow-covered streets,
creating a cinematic atmosphere.
And another charming place you can't miss on your Sapporo trip: Otaru!
Just an hour away by train, it's filled with the charm and romance of a small town.
A stroll along the Otaru Canal reveals a truly beautiful landscape, with its quaint buildings and softly glowing gas lights.

The city is also lined with glass craft shops, music box shops, and dessert cafes, making it a great place to combine shopping and sightseeing. Personally, I thought the modern urban atmosphere of Sapporo and the traditional streetscape of Otaru offered distinct charms, making a trip to both cities a perfect combination.

✔️If you're planning a winter trip to Japan, I highly recommend visiting Sapporo and Otaru.

I highly recommend a day spent strolling through snow-covered streets and ending with a warm bowl of ramen.👍
