The Koshikijima Islands, an archipelago in Kagoshima Prefecture, are connected by bridges to Kami-Koshikijima, Naka-Koshikijima, and Shimo-Koshikijima, and are loved by anglers and people who enjoy touring. We would like to introduce you to a recommended hotel, Hotel Area One Koshikijima, as a base for the islands. 🏨
It is right in front of you when you get off at Sato Port on Kami-Koshikijima from Kawauchi Port or Kushikino Shinko Port in Kagoshima Prefecture. 👀
Hotel Area One Koshikijima was a comfortable accommodation.
It has hot springs, is clean, and above all, the food is delicious. 😋
I stayed here for four nights, and they had "raw kibinago" twice for breakfast. (Apparently it is served when there is a catch.)
The raw kibinago, which you don't often have the chance to eat, has a meltingly delicious flavor, and I enjoyed my homemade bowl of rice with negitoro and sweet shrimp from the morning.
The dinner was delicious, motorcycle parking is available, and the room and hot spring are clean.
The room has a harbor view!
Just a short walk from the inn you can also enjoy a stroll around the ruins of a samurai residence in Satoroku.
Please make this your base for your trip to the Koshikijima Islands of Japan's remote islands!
