Ao Tongtan is a beach located in the area of ​​the Naval Fleet, Sattahip Naval Base, but is open to the public. However, you must exchange a ticket to enter. The name of Ao Dongtan comes from the fact that there are tall pine trees and palm trees planted densely in rows along the bay.

Activities when visiting Ao Dongtan include swimming in the sea because the beach is clean and sandy, more than 400 meters long. There is a golf club of the Naval Fleet, sailing activities, and this place is also a training ground for sailing for the national team because the bay is located in a suitable location. King Rama IX once sailed a 13-foot sailboat himself from Hua Hin to Sattahip on April 19, 1966. Nearby is the Marine Corps Museum, which exhibits weapons and equipment and the history of the Marine Corps.
