Crossing the border by car 🚗 Canada - USA

Seattle is about a two-hour drive from Vancouver! I'll share my experience from my bus trip :)

Transportation costs vary depending on the time of year, but I think it's around 50,000-70,000 won round trip! Since you're crossing the border, you should definitely bring your passport. You'll also need a separate land visa (!), so pre-purchasing it will speed up your entry! Since it's the Canada-US border, they don't ask many questions. It's more like casual small talk!

The main attractions in Seattle are Pike Place Market, the first Starbucks, the Space Needle, and the Gum Wall.

Except for the Space Needle, everything else is relatively close together, so it'll be easy to plan your route :)

I had lunch at a nearby musubi restaurant. I happened to stumble upon this place, but the Korean owner was nice and welcoming. Thankfully, they even gave me a free coffee! 🤍 It was delicious, so I highly recommend you visit! The unagi is absolutely delicious!

Instead, since you will be traveling by land, please keep in mind that the bus ride time may increase by up to 3-4 hours. I hope you have a safe trip!
