Rice fields and fishing villages? Yes please! Sekinchan, just 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur, is a peaceful little town known for its golden paddy fields, stork sightings, and laid-back charm. I cycled through emerald fields, stopped by a rice mill to learn how rice is processed, and ended the day with seafood by the beach in Pantai Redang. It’s rustic, photogenic, and super relaxing — a great place to slow down.
