Beauty in Transition 🍂

This trip wasn't during the peak of the red leaves, but I discovered a special beauty.

On a day when some leaves were still bright green, while others were beginning to wilt, it was a time when nature was "changing its clothes." The greatest beauty wasn't when everything was perfect, but when we saw green, yellow, and red all together in a single frame. It felt more alive and real than a perfect picture.

Many people might think that if we didn't arrive at the peak, we'd miss out, but what I saw was much more special. This was when nature was "transforming" right before our eyes. I loved this kind of color, not the monochromatic forest.

The unpreparedness of nature, the trees not yet fully red, the overcast sky... made it seem alive, and it felt like we were still in a period of change.

At Nyuto Onsen, the beech forest was gradual, like a brushstroke at the end of the year. If we had arrived later, we would have seen only bare trees.

But now... we still saw life all together, green, yellow, and red.

This trip taught me that the "balance" of the season doesn't mean the most intense colors. But it's the moment of change... the moment when all of life can be seen together in one frame. And there it is... the beauty that doesn't have to be perfect. 🍂
