[Sendai/Long-established soba restaurant] Imosen

About 5 minutes from Kotodai Park Station, I visited a soba restaurant called Imosen, which has a noren hanging up on a quaint narrow street. ✨

This restaurant is open from 7am, and is famous for its breakfast set, which can be ordered from 7am to 11am! I went there around 9:30am looking for a breakfast set, but there were about 4 groups of customers waiting to enter!

Order at the counter and wait at your seat. (Payment was cash only!)

The restaurant has about 6 two-person chabudai tables, and has a Showa-era atmosphere. It was a Japanese-style room that felt like a nostalgic grandma's house☺️Combined with the radio playing from the stylish booths, it's a very relaxing and lovely restaurant.

I recommend the breakfast set☀️For 800 yen, you can get soba, rice of the day, grated yam, and pickles. The rice on this day was maitake rice.

The soba noodles have a crisp texture, and although the portion is large, you can eat as much as you want, so it was delicious✨The rice was warm and had a gentle taste. The grated yam also had a crisp texture, and went well with the rice! I was very satisfied with the meal for 800 yen✨

The quiet streets around were also very charming!
