Zuihoden is an important historical site in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. It is the mausoleum of Date Masamune, the first lord of Sendai Domain. It is one of the representative Momoyama-style buildings in Japan, integrating the spirit of samurai and the beauty of craftsmanship. It is also one of the classic attractions of Sendai tourism.
Take the sightseeing bus "るーぷる送台" from "JR Sendai Station" for about 15 minutes, get off at "Zuihoden-mae" station, and walk about 5 to 10 minutes up the slope to reach it.
