Malta, this small Mediterranean island, is like a living history book, with every stone telling an epic story.
If you're tired of the usual European tours, come here and experience seven thousand years of time washing over!
"Time-travel" version of Malta's highlights route:
1️⃣ The Soul of the Knights: Valletta & The Three Cities
St. John's Co-Cathedral: Don’t be discouraged by the lines, buy tickets in advance! Here you’ll find Caravaggio’s masterpiece "The Beheading of Saint John." The best part is the short film next door that shows just how "no zuo no die" this genius painter was—watch it first, then look at the painting, and you’ll see it in a whole new light!
Grandmaster's Palace: A paradise for weapon enthusiasts! See the exquisite armor and weapons of the Knights of St. John and feel the era of knights and horses.
Fort St. Angelo: The best viewpoint! Standing here, you can see The Three Cities and Valletta all at once. The Mediterranean breeze blows by, and you can almost hear the knights’ horns.
2️⃣ Prehistoric Code: Ħaġar Qim Temples
After visiting the Blue Grotto, don’t leave right away! A half-hour walk will take you to this prehistoric temple. Watch a 4D film to learn the background, then step into the ruins from thousands of years ago. When the broken walls frame the deep blue sea, the feeling of time and space overlapping will give you goosebumps.
3️⃣ Tranquil Ancient City: Mdina & Dingli Cliffs
Step into the "Silent City" Mdina, where the outside world’s noise instantly fades away. Stroll through the alleys and feel the peace of the Middle Ages. Finally, take a taxi to Dingli Cliffs and watch a magnificent sunset at the edge of the world.
Malta, half is the deep blue sea, half is the golden ancient city.
