🇰🇷 South Korea has a history of being a Japanese colony for 45 years.
This was during World War II, when Japan was on the verge of defeat by the Allied Forces, so they dug many caves in Jeju Island to use them as airplane hangars to win the war.
Among them, the Japanese coastal cave base in Songaksan is located on the beach and can be visited as dark tourism along with the Altteureu airfield.
Although it was a ☔️ rainy day, the painful memories of that day remain as a place that is currently inaccessible enough to be in danger of collapse, and coexist with the ✍️ interpretations of those living in the present age.
