As a beginner surfer, finding the right spot can be intimidating. Sagye Beach was the perfect place to start. The waves are gentle and consistent, and the beach isn't overrun with experienced surfers, which made me feel much more comfortable. There are several surf shops nearby that offer rentals and lessons, so it's very convenient. I spent the morning learning to ride the waves and the afternoon just soaking in the view of Sanbangsan. This beach provides a great balance of fun activity and beautiful scenery.
