Nature Retreat🥥

#mytraveldiary
My stay at The Seaes Hotel & Resort was a refreshing departure from the typical high-rise hotel experience, thanks to its stunning and nature-friendly architecture. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like a hotel and more like a traditional Jeju village. The resort is composed of individual, villa-style units, many with thatched roofs and stone walls crafted from the island's famous black 현무암 (basalt). This thoughtful design not only gives you a sense of complete privacy but also seamlessly integrates the buildings with the natural landscape.
Wandering through the grounds, which are part of the Jeju Olle Trail, felt like a peaceful stroll through a private garden. The buildings are not just surrounded by nature; they are a part of it, with manicured lawns, tall trees, and the constant sound of the sea nearby. The architects have done a magnificent job of blending modern comfort with the timeless charm of Jeju's traditional building style. It’s an experience that truly connects you to the island's unique culture and natural beauty.
