Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff

The Jusangjeolli Cliff was more perfect and beautiful than any man-made structure. The neatly aligned stone pillars along the coastline looked as if they had been meticulously carved, making it hard to believe they were formed by nature. Visiting during sunset was particularly breathtaking, as the red-tinged sky, the cliffs, and the sea combined to create a spectacular view. Although there were many tourists, the area was spacious enough that it didn’t feel too crowded. The guided explanation program on-site was also fascinating; learning that this unique terrain was formed by rapidly cooling lava made it even more awe-inspiring. Standing for a moment, listening to the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs, was undoubtedly a highlight of my trip to Jeju. If you want to experience Jeju’s unique geological wonders, I highly recommend adding Jusangjeolli Cliff to your must-visit list.
