Interactive Experience: More Than Just a Museum

#hellohalloween
What truly sets Jeju Folk Village apart is its high level of visitor interaction. It’s not just about looking; I had the chance to participate in traditional handicraft activities in the mountain village area. I tried painting a wooden totem pendant crafted by a local artisan—a unique and meaningful souvenir. The artisans here are incredibly welcoming, eager to share stories about their craft. While there weren't many scheduled performances, witnessing the daily life of the past recreated through artifacts, the traditional Jeju black pig stalls, and old kitchens provided immense educational value. This is genuinely a "living museum" where the culture is felt, not just seen, engaging both the mind and the heart.
