History & Importance
Established in 1987, Jeju Folk Village was carefully built based on historical records and local expertise to recreate over 100 traditional structures. The village is divided into themed areas—mountain village, fishing village, shamanism village, and government office—each showcasing a unique aspect of Jeju's culture. It has also served as a filming location for historical dramas like "Dae Jang Geum."
