A secret valley where the sea and fresh water meet

Soesogak is located at the end of Hyodoncheon, a stream that flows down from Mt. Halla to the south of Jeju Island. The deep pond formed by the meeting of Hyodoncheon's freshwater and seawater is Soesogak. 'Soesogak' means 'a pond shaped like a cow lying down' and 'gak' means 'the last end'.
Recently, it has become famous for kayaking.
