Gwangjang Market is one of the oldest and largest traditional markets located in 88 Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Some of the stores open daily around 0900-2300. It is around 3 to 5 minutes walk from Jongno 5-ga Station (Line 1) and Euljiro 4-ga Station (line 2 and 5).
The market is opened in 1905 selling fruits, vegetables, fresh products, clothing, kitchenware and the most important is food. This market offers a variety of traditional Korean street food from Mung Bean Pancakes, Fish Cake Soup, Kimbap, Mandu (Korean dumplings) and many more.
It is a great place to experience local culture and get a taste of the Korean way of life. Gwangjang Market offers something for everyone, so you must include this market on your visit in Seoul.
