Opened in 1983 by an owner who trained at the long-established tonkatsu restaurant "Tonki". Featured in a tonkatsu special on the popular Korean gourmet show "Wednesday Gourmet Club".
It is also the first restaurant in Korea to serve thick, Japanese-style tonkatsu.

It is thinner than the average tonkatsu restaurant in Japan. The batter is light and not oily. It is cut into bite-sized pieces and is easy to eat.
The tonkatsu comes as a set meal, with white rice, cabbage, and miso soup. The flavorful miso soup is said to be made with meat stock.
The age range of the fans seems to be wide, from young people to those who have been there since the restaurant opened. There are also die-hard fans who visit from Japan, so the shrimp fry seems to be very popular.
