📍Hong Jie Lao Hotpot
A Chongqing-style hotpot with a rustic tavern atmosphere and no other Koreans in sight. Expect a wait! The place is very clean and you can choose your ingredients freely. Don't forget to order Qingdao draft beer🍺. If you're tired of the usual Haidilao hotpot, Hong Jie Lao is highly recommended.
⭐Sauce Recipe: Garlic + Green Onion + Oyster Sauce + Sesame Oil
📍Dian Dou De
Already famous among Koreans! The crispy shrimp rice rolls are a must-try. The outer layer is chewy while the inside is crispy, making it incredibly delicious🤤. There are many other tasty dishes, but
⭐Be sure to order the cucumber salad to cut through the richness!
📍Dong Bei Ren Jia
A great spot for affordable and delicious Chinese home-style food! We ordered sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, fried rice, stir-fried egg and tomato, and Qingdao beer, all for around 20,000 KRW👌. The portions are generous, making it a great place to visit without breaking the bank.
⭐Must-try dishes: Sweet and Sour Pork, Mapo Tofu
📍Lai Lai Xiao Long
A crab dim sum restaurant where waiting is inevitable even if you go early🥢. The juicy crab roe soup inside the dumplings is incredibly tasty! Make a small hole with your chopsticks and sip the soup first.
⭐Special ginger vinegar sauce is a must-order!
📍Hen Jiu Yi Qian
A place where you can enjoy fresh lamb skewers made from lamb sourced from Hulunbuir, one of the world's four great grasslands! It's a very popular spot, so reservations and waiting are necessary✔️.
⭐Be sure to order the grilled eggplant and corn skewers!
📍Lillian Bakery
If you love sweet and moist egg tarts, this bakery is a must-visit! The layered pastry is so appealing that one is not enough, so make sure to buy at least a box!
⭐Personally recommend the egg tart and cheese tart flavors.
📍Gelato
A hot spot for gelato in Wukang Mansion! With cute designs, you can try flavors like pistachio, dark chocolate, yuzu, matcha, blueberry yogurt, caramelized cookie, pumpkin, jasmine, and salted milk.
📍Heytea
A must-visit milk tea shop where you should have at least one cup a day! The grape boom tea, exclusive to Shanghai, is a grape drink with lots of pulp, making it a must-try for its unique texture and flavor.
