Find Yourself Amongst the Bamboo

Traveling in a foreign country can sometimes lead to getting lost, especially when you don't speak the language. However, this shouldn't discourage you from doing it. You've got to look at your travels through an adventure lens.

We took a taxi to this bamboo forest in Moganshan. Once we had spent the day hiking through the thick bamboo and observing the gorgeous scenery, we were ready to head back to our hotel. However, we couldn't find a taxi! Eventually, we made our way deeper into town where we were able to find a bus. We had no idea where this bus was going, but we got on it anyways. It's a continuation of our adventure! We got to see so much more on this bus than we would have if we had just found a taxi to take us back to the hotel.

What could have been a disaster ended up a fun-filled afternoon with new friends, all because we chose to see our travel through an adventure lens. How do you see your travel?
