We visited #hanyangdoseong (Seoul City Wall) in one of the afternoon during our #seoultrip. It was sunny but cooling, which made it a perfect weather for walking. As we climbed and walked along the city wall, the enchanting views of modern and traditional Seoul were truly fascinating. There were residential blocks with direct access to the City Wall. What a privilege! The residents can climb up the tiny hill and walk along the inner wall for fresh air and magnificent views. We appreciate the serenity of the surroundings as it was not over crowded with tourists. Highly recommended if you enjoy a hike with a view of the city! 🍂🚶♀️🍁
🚇 Getting There: There are multiple access points to the City Wall where visitors can start their exploration. Some of the access points to Seoul City Wall include:
1️⃣ Naksan Park: Located in the Jongno-gu district, Naksan Park offers a picturesque starting point with beautiful views of the city.
2️⃣ Hyehwamun Gate: This gate, located near Sungkyunkwan University in Jongno-gu, is another popular entry point to the city wall.
3️⃣ Changuimun Gate: Situated in Seongbuk-gu, Changuimun Gate is one of the major gates of Seoul City Wall and provides a great entry point for hikers.
4️⃣ Sukjeongmun Gate: Located in the Dobong-gu district, this gate offers access to the northern part of the city wall.
