Roaming Seoul: Exploring Soul of SoKor 🥰

#timetotravel
During my trip to Seoul, South Korea, I had an amazing time exploring the city and immersing myself in its culture. Here are some recommendations and tips based on my personal experience:

1. Visit Traditional Palaces: Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace are must-visit attractions. Consider joining a guided tour to learn about their historical significance.

2. Explore Insadong: This neighborhood is known for its art galleries, traditional tea houses, and antique shops. Don't miss the chance to try traditional Korean tea and browse unique souvenirs.

3. Enjoy Street Food: Seoul is a food lover's paradise. Try street food delicacies like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), hotteok (sweet pancakes), and mandu (dumplings) at the vibrant Gwangjang Market.

4. Shop at Myeongdong: This bustling shopping district offers a wide range of local and international brands. Don't forget to explore underground shopping centers for great deals.

5. Discover Bukchon Hanok Village: Wander through the narrow streets lined with traditional Korean houses (hanoks) and soak in the charming atmosphere. Some hanoks even offer cultural experiences.

6. Experience a Hanbok: Rent a hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village. It's a fantastic way to embrace Korean culture and capture memorable photos.

7. Attend a Traditional Performance: Check out Nanta or a traditional Korean music and dance performance like B-boy Kung Festival. These shows offer a glimpse into Korea's rich performing arts scene.

8. Take a Day Trip to the DMZ: Consider visiting the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to gain insights into the Korean War and the division between North and South Korea. Book a guided tour for a comprehensive experience.

9. Relax at a Jimjilbang: These Korean bathhouses are perfect for unwinding. Enjoy various hot and cold baths, saunas, and even get a scrub massage for a rejuvenating experience.

10. Use Public Transportation: Seoul's subway and bus systems are efficient and well-connected. Purchase a T-Money card for convenient travel and make use of smartphone apps for navigation.

Remember to be respectful of local customs, such as bowing when greeting, and try to learn a few basic Korean phrases. Enjoy your trip to Seoul and have a fantastic time exploring all the city has to offer! #travelling #travelguide #travelinspiration #trip #instatravel #seoul #southkorea #seoultravel #timetotravel #goodfoods #asia #asiatrip #mytripvlog #travel #travelphotography
