[Korea] Myeongdong: A specialty shop that is highly recommended for eating cold noodles

Korean cold noodles can be broadly divided into two types: Pyongyang cold noodles and Hamheung cold noodles.

The cold noodles I recommend are Hamheung cold noodles.

My favorite is the long-established Myeongdong Hamheung Noodle House in the center of Myeongdong.

The chewy thin noodles are made only from sweet potato starch. They mix well with the soup and the more you chew them the tastier they become.

If you like spicy food, we also recommend the bibim cold noodles.

They also go well with the beef bone soup that is served free of charge, so be sure to ask for more!

Both have a new texture and taste that you can't find in Japan.

I keep coming back to this place.
