The Beauty of Tradition Encountered at the National Folk Museum

This afternoon, I was able to feel the depth of Korean traditional culture while visiting the National Folk Museum. The exhibition hall was filled with various relics showing the life and culture of Koreans from the Joseon Dynasty to the present. In particular, the exhibition of traditional wedding attire and living tools was interesting because it allowed me to vividly feel the life of the past.

At around 4 o'clock, I finished the day by looking at the thatched houses and kimchi crocks in the outdoor exhibition hall bathed in the sunset. The phrase written on the guide, "Tradition is our roots and a bridge to the future," lingered deeply in my heart. I want to visit again in the spring when the flowers in the outdoor garden are in full bloom! I hope it's a little less cold then!!🌸
