The Breath of Tradition Encountered at the National Folk Museum
Yesterday afternoon, I visited the National Folk Museum and spent time feeling the depth of Korean traditional culture. The museum was interesting because it exhibited various relics and materials centered on the lifestyle of the Joseon Dynasty. In particular, the space that recreated the traditional wedding was impressive because it vividly showed the culture of the time with gorgeous costumes and decorations.

πŸ“Œ Points for solo travelers

Recommended way to appreciate: Slowly look at the exhibited artifacts and imagine the lives of people in the Joseon Dynasty

Hidden spot: Outdoor exhibition space β†’ A special place where you can see old houses and farming tools up close

Recommended snack: Warm citron tea and rice cake set sold at a traditional tea house near the museum (6,500 won)

🚨 Notes

Be quiet and considerate of other visitors while viewing the exhibition hall

Check the outdoor space as it may be difficult to use depending on the weather

Photography of some artifacts is prohibited (Must check the notice)

The National Folk Museum of Korea was a special place where you could experience and understand Korean traditional culture beyond just a simple exhibition. I want to visit again with my friends next time! 🌟I don't know if my friends will go with me, but lol!
