Bongeunsa Temple – Peaceful in the heart of Gangnam

Bongeunsa Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul. Although it is surrounded by tall buildings and the hustle and bustle of the city, the temple is quiet and shady, perfect for a relaxing walk or meditation.
The temple has a very large stone Buddha statue (23 meters high) that is a highlight that you shouldn't miss. There are also beautiful traditional Korean buildings along the way. If you go during a festival such as Visakha Bucha Day, you will see colorful lanterns all over the temple. It is very beautiful and charming.
