In April, Gyeongbokgung Palace is gently embraced by a soft cherry blossom color. The ancient palace walls and the pink and white cherry blossoms are interwoven into a poem, as if history is slowly awakening in the spring. As you walk into the palace gate, the breeze blows and cherry blossom petals fall with the wind, as if they are fine snow falling from the sky, quietly covering the bluestone path. The traditional buildings and the light sea of ​​flowers complement each other, and every corner hides the most gentle secret of spring.
That day, I strolled slowly in front of the Qinzheng Hall, listening quietly to the sound of the wind blowing through the cherry treetops, as if I could hear the echo of the ancients' whispers. The tourists around me were wearing colorful Korean costumes, leaving their laughter and reflections under the cherry blossoms, as if they had become a part of this spring painting. The cherry blossoms in Gyeongbokgung Palace are not as vast as those in Yeouido, nor as lively as those in Seokchon Lake.
