A space where history and art converge

Deoksugung Palace is not just an ancient palace; it’s a unique place where living history and art coexist. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by Junghwajeon Hall, which preserves traces of the last royal family of the Joseon Dynasty. It felt far more majestic in person than in photos.

What stood out the most was the coexistence of Seokjojeon Hall and the art museum. The juxtaposition of traditional Korean architecture and European-style stone buildings in one space was strangely beautiful. Inside, exhibitions were held, allowing visitors to enjoy culture as well.

Being able to appreciate art within the timeless atmosphere of the palace makes it worth spending a leisurely day exploring. It’s rare to find a place in the city that offers such a diverse and moving experience.
