This is amazing! Exclusive lanes for Japanese travelers are now available.
From June 1 to June 30, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Japan-South Korea diplomatic normalization, exclusive lanes for Japanese nationals will be introduced at immigration checkpoints.
The locations are two airports: Gimpo Airport in Seoul and Gimhae Airport in Busan.
(Note: Incheon Airport is not included.)
There are three conditions for using these lanes:
1. You must have visited South Korea within the past year.
2. Your flight must be between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Important note for Gimpo International Airport:
- Only flights operated by Korean Air (KE), Asiana Airlines (OZ), Japan Airlines (JL), and All Nippon Airways (NH) are eligible.
3. You must complete the electronic arrival declaration (e-Arrival Card) before entering the country.
* You need to present a screenshot or a printed version of the electronic arrival declaration.
To check if you qualify for the Japanese exclusive lane, click the "View Electronic Arrival Declaration" button on the final screen after submitting your e-Arrival Card. If the message "You can use the exclusive inspection desk" appears, you're good to go!
This will significantly reduce waiting times at immigration, making your entry quicker and adding to the excitement of your trip. βοΈ
Enjoy the fun and delicious experiences South Korea has to offer!
Let's go to Korea β€οΈ
Meanwhile, exclusive lanes for South Korean travelers will be set up at Haneda Airport and Fukuoka Airport in Japan. π
