I went to Shanghai, China to meet a close Chinese friend. I explored Shanghai's famous restaurants with my friend who lives in Shanghai. Since I like pork the most among meats, my friend introduced me to XinBai Lu Restaurant, a famous Shanghai pork restaurant.

XinBai Lu is a chain restaurant, so there are many in China. We went to the Nanjing East Road branch. We were able to eat after waiting for an hour.

At first, the two of us ordered 11 pork dishes, but the waiter said there were too many, so we ordered 7 pork dishes. My favorite dish was Dongpo Pork, which had a perfect ratio of fat and lean meat, and it was really delicious when eaten with white rice. Also, the fried pork ribs were delicious because they were savory and salty.

The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and it was great value for money, so I want to visit again next time I come to Shanghai!
