Delicious Single-Serving Dakhanmari in Dongdaemun, Korea

When you think of Dongdaemun, the famous Dakhanmari Street comes to mind, lined with renowned restaurants serving this dish. I recently visited a spot tucked away at the end of this street:

This relatively new restaurant offers a single-serving Panmari (half-size Dakhanmari), so I decided to give it a try! 🎵

The restaurant is modern and spacious 😘, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive 🎵. Even if you opt for the Panmari (half-size), you still get the iconic "scissors-cutting" moment, perfect for snapping a photo 📸.

The dipping sauce is prepared by the staff, who also guide you on how to enjoy the dish, making it beginner-friendly 🎵. The dish is loaded with vegetables, making it hearty and satisfying 💯. The meat is tender, and the tteokbokki and potatoes 🥔 are absolutely delicious 💞. The kimchi is flavorful, and you can even ask for refills, ensuring you leave completely full 🎵.

This restaurant is a new branch of the famous Yukhoe and Jeon shop in Gwangjang Market, so you can also enjoy Yukhoe and Jeon here 🙌. No need to hop between Dakhanmari and Yukhoe spots anymore 🎵. If you're visiting with friends, try both dishes together ☺️.

With plenty of seating, this place is highly recommended 🎵. Definitely check it out! 🎵
