Seongsu-dong is always like that.

Even if you walk without any plan,
the alleys you come across by chance are pretty,
and each store you enter is full of tastes.

This date was the same.

A day where you feel fulfilled and warm even without doing anything in particular.

🛍️ Spaces that make you stop walking

As you walk,
emotional select shops suddenly appear behind the indifferent exterior walls.

You stop in front of the door where the scent wafts in,
and before you know it, you slowly walk in,
and the thought of just taking a peek

makes you want to walk in.

Books, scents, and vintage props placed everywhere.

The moment you hold them in your hand,
you think, ‘I wish I had one of these in my house too.’

The time when we picked out items that would suit each other,
and left with a light smile,
was truly special.

☕ A warm table with sunlight, a cup of coffee

While walking down the street, I saw a cafe with a particularly large window, so I went in.

Low music, a wooden table,
and soft sunlight streaming down to the floor.

The atmosphere was comfortable even without saying anything, so
I put my phone down for a moment,
and held the coffee cup with both hands.

After looking at the scenery outside,
I turned my eyes and looked at each other.
A time that was enough without saying much.

Sometimes, this kind of silence remains more vividly.

🎞️ Alleys, our own photo album

After leaving the cafe,
I walked along the alley where sunlight still remained.

Music flowing from somewhere,
Graffiti drawn on the wall,
even a blade of grass blooming between empty factory buildings,
all became scenery in this neighborhood.

After taking a few pictures,
I smiled and started walking again.

I felt that we were not a tourist destination,
but a ‘memory site’.

We didn’t walk fast,
and we didn’t do much in particular,
but today was memorable like a warm blanket.

Seongsu is that kind of neighborhood.

Just walking together,
our tastes gradually overlap.
A day that I wanted to stay longer because it wasn’t noisy.
