The fourth afternoon tea I visited during the mango season that starts summer
is the Intercontinental COEX Lobby Lounge, which is offering an apple mango afternoon tea.

Last strawberry season, under the name of Strawberry Avenue,
you could taste 5 courses of world cuisine and a 3-tier dessert tray
at the same time.

This place is located in the center of the first floor with no view.

I made a reservation for 5pm on Friday,
but happy hour is held in the same place from 6pm,
but the afternoon tea seats are set up in a corner,
so the paths don't overlap.

It's enough to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea.

Last season wasn't a traditional afternoon tea,
so this is my first time trying scones.

They provided one of the three hotel homemade jams,
and let me taste a little bit of all three.

Berry mix, mango cream cheese, Earl Grey...

And clotted cream is also provided separately.

Earl Grey cream goes very well with the scone.

The scone is very lightly soaked with mango scone,
and has a classic scone-like subtle taste with nuts occasionally chewed,
and the texture is excellent and the taste is good.

There are 4 kinds of savory,
and 6 kinds of sweets including scones,
all double.

Honestly.. the taste difference is quite large.

Half of the 10 kinds are very delicious,
and half are not very delicious.

The cream is overall okay,
and there is less apple mango than expected,
so it is not enough to find a big taste.

If only mango was provided separately like strawberries,
it would be a great option.

There is nothing here that is included as a basic part of other afternoon teas, such as mango juice or mango bingsu.

For those who are looking for value for money,
I think it will be the first to be excluded from the options.

The manager I met on my first visit
recognized me at a glance and welcomed me.

He took great care of every little thing
and even gave me a glass of wine as a service. Thank you.
