Gimpo Airport International Departure Point: A Close Departure Point in the City ✈️

While smaller than Incheon Airport, Gimpo International Airport's biggest advantage is its proximity. It's only 30 minutes to an hour from downtown Seoul, allowing me to catch my morning flight with ease. The airport's simple interior made check-in and security much faster. Perhaps because it primarily serves short-haul flights to Japan and China, there weren't as many travelers, making it less crowded.

The lounge, while smaller than Incheon Airport, was cozy, and the short distance to the boarding gate made getting around convenient. However, the duty-free shop is quite small, so if you're looking to do some shopping, you might be disappointed. However, there are cafes and restaurants, making it a great pre-departure snack.

For short trips, especially to Japan or China, Gimpo International Airport is much more efficient than Incheon Airport, making it highly recommended.
