Jogyesa Temple in Jongno

Standing at the entrance of Jogyesa Temple in Jongno, I was immediately enveloped by the serene atmosphere unique to traditional temples. Despite being located in the bustling city center, stepping into the temple grounds brought a sense of calm and tranquility, as if the noise and chaos of the city had faded away.🦋

The neatly erected Iljumun gate at the entrance and the view of the temple buildings beyond immediately caught my attention. The lush trees surrounding the temple enhanced the peaceful and quiet scenery that is characteristic of Jogyesa. The entrance to Jogyesa Temple, with its atmosphere akin to a sanctuary in the city, left a lasting impression even in a brief moment.
